It’s Fathers’ Day… Your very first Fathers’ Day.
And I’d sort of like you to know,
That I love you an awful lot.

You always take time with me to play..
And as you smile and hold me tight,

When you pucker up your face and make those funny noises,
I’ve just got to giggle..

When you tickle me I feel good all over,
And even my toes start to wiggle..

That my Father is the real best one.
So you see, I wanted you to know,
That all day I’ll work to be very good,

That you’re my Father the whole year ‘round.
I love you with all my little heart, Daddy,
And I’m telling you as best I could,
If I had to choose my Dad,
I would hunt, ‘til it was you I found.
